Porto ColomPorto Colom is situated on the east cost of Mallorca, about 20 km south of Porto Cristo, and some claims have been made that this, in fact, is the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. Porto Colom still remains a small traditional fishing village, that has so far resisted full scale tourist commercialisation. A small amount of mainly residential building work is going on, although the town will never become like the larger tourist resorts of Mallorca. At our Center in Porto Colom, we have a set of adventure activities for you to explore. For those who are completely new to the submerged world, we have three great sites for a discover scuba dive. For those who have been out of the water a while, we have three easy dives to refresh your skills. For the licensed diver, we have beautiful dives for beginners to expert, with holes to discover, caves to explore, tunnels to swim throug, shallow dives, deep dives and one wreck off the coast; in addition to plenty of Mediterranean Sea Life. If the weather is nice, which it normally is in Mallorca, we do as much diving as we can, and you are welcome to join us. All our dives are done in groups of maximum 10 with local guides who knows the area like the back of their hands.
The sea near Porto Colom is our "game site", and we also have activities to enjoy the sea; such as guided snorkeling tours and guided kayak trips, or our specialty; the speed boat trip into the Pirate's Cave of Porto Cristo. Enjoy your stay in Mallorca and welcome to Porto Colom.
