The most important marine parks around Mallorca are:
CABRERA NATIONAL PARK
The archipelago of Cabrera (Goat Island) consists of a series of islets and constitutes one of the best ecosystems in the Mediterranean Sea, unaltered due to their isolation. It was proclaimed Natural Park and Marine Reserve in 1991. It hosts important colonies of marine birds, numerous botanical species and many endemic invertebrates.
The crystal clear waters of the Archipelago, its seabed, rich in flora and fauna (with over 200 fish species), make Cabrera an ideal place for diving.
The reserve is 30 minutes away with one of our speed boats from our center in Cala Figuera. For an ever more extraordinary experience, we offer a 3 day sailboat-trip combined with diving at Cabrera in the summer months.
DRAGONERA NATURAL PARK
The Dragonera Natural Park is located to the west of Majorca. Is is formed by the island of Sa Dragonera and the islets Es Pantaleu, Na Mitjana and Els Calafats. This group of islands, which geologically represent the continuation of the Tramuntana mountain range, share environmental conditions and a variety of fauna and flora of great value.
The Natural Park was proclaimed in 1995 to protect this area.
In Dragonera, you will enjoy crystal clear waters, caves with air pockets, magnificent underwater lanscapes and vertical walls that make the dives a treat to any diver.

ISLA DEL TORO MARINE RESERVE
In 2004, the area of Isla del Toro was proclaimed Marine Reserve. The waters off the 150 hectare reserve extend between the island Es Clot del Moro and Cala Refeubetx. Due to the diversity and richness of habitats, seabed and fish that can be found in the area, it is considered of great ecological value. Therefore these waters deserve a high degree of protection. Diving is allowed as long as the corresponding permits have been obtained.

ISLAS MALGRATS MARINE RESERVE
In 2004, the waters of Islas Malgrats were proclaimed Marine Reserve. In this privileged zone, rich in fauna and flora, you can find large fields of Posidonia Oceanica and big rocks hiding many mediterranean species. Big schools of barracuda never fail to impress divers.

LEVANTE DE MALLORCA MARINE RESERVE
This marine Reserve was created in 2007 and covers and are of 11.000 hectares, making it the one of the largest in the Mediterranean.
The coastline offers limestone cliffs and numerous sea caves. Dotted among the rocky shoreline are sandy and occasionaly virgin beaches. The waters contain a plethora of sea life and offer some fantastic dives.
