At Mallorcadiving.com we know that safety and security is fundamental to our operation, and we operate under the highest safety standards. All dives are made after the captain has checked the meterological station, online, for a complete forecast of weather and sea conditions.

In order to guarantee the security, all dives are organized on the basis of the following criterias:

• On all boat dives and snorkel excursions, there will be a licensed and registered captain. The maximum boat capacity will be not exceeded.

• All dives are lead by a professional educated „Guide“ (Divemaster standard), who knows exactly where the divesite is, as well as the characteristics of it.

• On all dives, the divers are grouped by levels, having limits to the depth and difficulty of the diving, to the degree of each diver. There are no dives deeper than 40m.

• Before each dive the characteristics of the diving spot will be explaned in the briefing as well as the hand signals and emergency rules will be remembered.

• The boats stay close to the divers or anchor and have all ladders.

• The equipment that we use is manufactured by SCUBAPRO-UWATEC or AQUALUNG and regularly maintained by a dive equipment technician and the centres manager.

• Our compressors guarantee air of high quality thanks to the filter systems accredited by EU standards.

• In all dive boats and centers we have VHF facilities to be in contact at all times. Our boats and diving centers have medic first aid kids prepered in case of on emergency. On each dive, it’s obligatory to have oxygen on board and therapy equipment (oxidoc).

• Our licensed divemasters and instructors annually take courses of rescue and medic first response.

• All our centers have a plan of emergency, for evacuation of victims, to the clinic, hospital or hyperbaric chamber. A special concluded insurance guarnateers, that our clients in case of a diving accident will be prefered of specialized diving doctors as well as in the hyperbaric chamber.

• Our centers are insured by "Segur Sub – Winterthur".
